welcome to the Netherlands..

After your arrival, have registered yourself in the (Gemeente)municipality where you officially live, with your birth and marriage certificate legalized from the DFA and to the Dutch embassy.
Residence permit
When you apply for a temporary residence permit, the IND will check whether you meet all of the conditions. You will also be examined for tuberculosis.
The period of validity in principle, the residence permit is issued for a maximum of 1 year.
ImportantIf you are applying for a residence permit in the Netherlands, the Dutch Government will need to know your details. We aim to treat your details with care, which is why the Personal Data Protection Act [Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens, Wbp] applies.
If you are a national of a country that does not have an MVV obligation, and you entered the Netherlands without an MVV, you must report to the Aliens police within 3 working days.

IND approved?

Where do you go to collect an authorisation for temporary stay (MVV)?
You wish to come to the Netherlands. Has the IND approved your application for an MVV? If so, contact the Embassy or Consulate in your country of origin to arrange to collect the MVV.
The MVV is a sticker. The Embassy or Consulate will check your passport and then attach the MVV to your passport. Please take into consideration that when the MVV is issued, your passport should be valid for at least three months.
You will have 6 months to collect the MVV. Once the MVV has been attached to your passport, you will have 6 months to travel to the Netherlands and to apply for a residence permit. Please pay attention to the validity of your passport and your MVV.
A short stay visa (C-visa) will usually be issued in addition to the MVV (D-visa). This combination is also known as the C + D visa. The short stay visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and can be used during that period to travel to and from the Netherlands and to visit other Schengen countries. This combination visa helps avoid problems which can sometimes arise while you are still waiting for your residence permit. You may, for example, wish to briefly return to your own country to make some final arrangements regarding your move to the Netherlands. The combination visa will then enable you to return to the Netherlands, for as long as the short stay visa remains valid.
The combination visa in your passport will state the period of validity as 90 days. This only relates to the short stay visa. The MVV itself will remain valid for six months after the date of issue.
Note: Dont forget your CFO (commission on Filipino Overseas) sticker.
You need CFO seminar or orientation at the immigration, get your certificate of attendance and get your sticker attach to your passport.
Have a nice and safety trip..

The civic integration examination abroad
The civic integration examination abroad is an examination that must be taken in the country of residence and therefore before the foreign national comes to the Netherlands. The civic integration examination abroad is an oral examination that is taken in Dutch. The examination tests candidates basic knowledge of the Dutch language and Dutch society. The examination is taken at a Dutch Embassy or Consulate General.
Preparation
In order to prepare for the examination, the foreign national must gain an understanding of the Dutch language and knowledge of Dutch society. It is up to the foreign national to decide how he or she wishes to prepare for the examination. The government will not set any rules in this respect, nor will it provide any courses. A practice pack has however been compiled. Practice packs can be purchased for a sum of €63.90 at bookshops in the Netherlands and via various booksellers on the internet. The sponsor in the Netherlands can purchase this pack and send it to the foreign national.
The pack consists of: a film about the Netherlands on DVD or video; a booklet with photos from the film, a CD containing all of the questions that may arise during the Knowledge of Dutch Society examination, three Dutch language mock examinations that can be used in order to practice at home, and an instruction leaflet explaining how to use the pack. The foreign national can use this practice pack to prepare for the civic integration examination abroad. In addition, a great deal of teaching material is available in the Netherlands, some of which can also be used for self-study. The person living in the Netherlands who wants the foreign national to come to the Netherlands can forward these teaching materials to the foreign national. More information about the practice pack can be found at http://www.naarnederland.nl/.
